Collings Berry Media was set up in March 2006 and specialises in racing and bloodstock features and photography. Having started out on local papers in Berkshire, I ended up devoting my time solely to horses after joining Horse & Hound in 1997.
Three years there were followed by another three at Pacemaker before returning to Horse & Hound as deputy editor. London life was swapped for Newmarket in September 2003 when I came to work for Sheikh Mohammed's Darley Stud.
Life as a freelancer now includes the roles of bloodstock editor of Thoroughbred Owner & Breeder and European correspondent of Inside Racing in Australia.
Along with training racehorses, John is also an exprienced
writer. For the past 17 years, he has written a weekly international
column for Australia's biggest selling racing title Winning Post. He
also writes for Al Adiyat in Dubai and for thoroughbredinternet.com.
