We're happy to report that this yard has been enjoying a fantastic run through the winter. We haven't had that many horses running but those who have been have done us proud.

There are very few trainers in the National Hunt table with a higher wins-to-runs strike rate than John. His is currently riding high at 33 per cent with six wins from 18 outings by our horses.

The stats stack up favourably on the flat, too, our five wins from 16 runners returning a strike rate of 31 per cent.

Following our horses with a £1 stake would have given you a £19.16 level stakes profit on the flat and £20.70 over jumps.

We've a nice team of horses to work with this summer but there's always room for one or two more and our daily training rates offer the best value in Newmarket.
