Karma Chameleon ran arguably the best race of his career to date when going down by a neck to Shabora at Lingfield and narrowly failing to notch his fifth consecutive win.
Breaking well, he soon settled in behind the leaders but was shuffled back through the pack on the turn, leaving him markedly adrift of the leaders when needing to make a challenge. He responded to the call as ever, and was reeling in the eventual winner with every stride in a strong run for the line, which unfortunately came a couple of strides too early for him.
It was Karma Chameleon's sixth run for the stable since his arrival last October, and during that time he has won four times and has finished second twice, running today off a 23-pound higher mark than he was on when he arrived.
He's a really straightforward and genuine individual and we're really fortunate to have him in the stable.
