Kadouchski the Dual-Purpose Hero

Dear old Kadouchski added a victory on the Flat to his CV on Thursday when winning over two miles at Kempton.

It was great to be back on the winners' sheet again: since he won at Sandown last month our three subsequent runners (himself included) have all finished second and, while it's always nice when the horses are running well, it's even better when they are winning.

Kadouchski, who was given a very nice ride by Rab Havlin to score in comfortable fashion, joins Rhythm Stick on the list of Flat winners for 2011, and he and Alcalde have both won over hurdles this year.

On Friday we head to Newbury with Alcalde, who will be bidding to go one better than his very good runner-up finish at the same course last time out. Fingers crossed.
