We were delighted with the first win for two-year-old Karma Chameleon, who scored by two lengths over a mile on Kempton's Polytrack on Thursday.
Racing in the colours of EERC (Emirates Entertainment Racing Club), a very welcome new owner to the new yard, Karma Chameleon seemed to relish the step up in distance by an extra furlong from his first outing for this stable, in which he finished second. He's not a very big horse but is well made and really likeable, both in the way he does his work at home and on the track, and for his manners in the box.
He came to us from Richard Guest's stable a couple of months ago and it has to be said that Richard's team has done a very good job in preparing him to be a racehorse as for one so young he is a thoroughly straightforward individual.
We look forward to having some more fun outings with Karma Chameleon over the winter and we'd like to thank EERC for giving us the chance to train him for them.
